Premier League Fantasy Football Boots 2011/12: Week 16

Another week of Premier League action and that means another week of goals, assists and Fantasy Football Boots brought to you exclusively by Sport-locker.net

As a little reminder for you…

Each week, Sport-locker.net will keep a running table of which boots are scoring the most goals and which are making the most assists as well as collating the two to reveal the Premier League’s most prolific and most creative football boot.

Three points will be rewarded for each goal scored while there is one on offer for every assist.

The first full midweek Premier League fixtures of the season and it was a rout for adidas with the table toppers F50 and Predator enjoying an early festive points feast.

Six goals apiece courtesy of Ronald Zubar, Emmanuel Adebayor Stephane Sessegnon, Heidar Helguson and a brace from Demba Ba (all F50) and Nigel Reo-Coker, Mark Davies, Nani, Wes Brown and Robin Van Persie ( all Predators)

F50 adiZero also proved to be the most creative boot of the week with a whopping eight goal assists with Junior Hoilett and Samir Nasri among the providers.

There was a good spread of goals across Nike’s four releases. Vapors (4), CTR360 Maestri (3), Tiempo (1) and Laser (4).

But only one was responsible for the Premier League’s landmark 20,000th goal and that was the CTR 360 Maestri on Marc Albrighton’s right foot.

Goal of the weekend goes to Puma and the Powercat of Paul Scharner who hit a stunning half volley to give West Bromwich Albion all three points against Newcastle United.

Wildcard of the weekend goes to Ryan Giggs and his Reebok Instante IIs with a goal and an assist for Manchester United’s evergreen midfield maestro who has now scored in every one of the 20 Premier League seasons.
