Video – Nike release their most environmentally-friendly kits ever for EURO 2012

Once again Nike have continued their commitment to combining athletic performance with lower environmental impact ahead of EURO 2012 this summer.

Because Sport-locker.net can reveal that their new kits for Croatia, France, Netherlands, Poland and Portugal are made using an average of 13 recycled plastic bottles!

And as this image shows, Nike are certainly thinking about the environment, and good on them we say!

Yes, you did read that right: since 2010, Nike football has used an estimated 115 million recycled plastic bottles to create its high performance kits which lined up end to end, would reach from Lisbon to Warsaw an astonishing nine times over! Or put differently, ten bottles for every person living in Portugal!
