Football kit release: Tottenham Hotspur Home & Away 2011/12

With the Premier League season slowly creeping up on us, football kit releases are coming thick and fast – and today it’s the turn of Tottenham Hotspur to launch their newest PUMA jerseys for the 2011/12 campaign.

And as with everything SportLocker can reveal exclusive images of the home and away (not the TV programme) kits!

Spurs fans will be pleased to see a return to the classic lilywhite and navy blue – the new home kit clearly references the Club’s long tradition with a sophisticated reinterpretation of a ‘classic’ Spurs uniform.

The shirt design itself echoes PUMA’s Speed theme with the cut lines engineered to reflect dynamic movement and enhance player comfort and confidence, using modern moisture wicking fabrics and construction.

As for the away kit, the White Hart Lane faithful will enjoy donning a purple number when supporting the club on their travels.

The retro look will surely be a hit with the Spurs fans, as they look to qualify for the Champions League once again this season.

One of the biggest questions concerning Spurs is who will wear the Number One goalkeeper shirt. Will it be Brad Friedel or Heurelho Gomes?

Either way, you won’t be able to miss them between the sticks!

Roger Harrison, Marketing Director PUMA UK, commented: “We have enjoyed a very successful relationship with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club over the past six years and have continued to work closely with them to develop another strong range of kits.

“The new home jersey incorporates PUMA’s latest technological innovation and we are confident that everyone involved with the Club, players, coaches and fans, will be proud to put on the new kit.”

The new Tottenham Hotspur home strip is expected to be available from 14th September, whilst the Away strip is hitting the shops a little earlier from 8th September.

Fans can now pre-order the kit from the club’s website

Now you’ve had a look at the new kits, leave you comments about what you think of the Spurs’ new kit below or on our Facebook and Twitter pages.

Are the White Hart Lane faithful looking forward to moving from PUMA to Under Armour next season?
