If you thought the miCoach technology in the adidas f50 adizero football boot was impressive – are about to blow your mind with this bit of news!

Because today we can reveal that the Major League Soccer All-Star Game on July 25th will be the first “smart soccer match” (we don’t like using the word soccer) – featuring the new miCoach professional football team tracking system, the next step in player performance analysis technology!

The miCoach professional football team tracking system provides coaches with real time performance metrics on the field of play including player position, power output, speed, distance covered, intensity of play, acceleration and GPS heat mapping.

What’s more following the debut of the miCoach professional football team tracking system at the MLS All-Star Game, the new technology will be rolled out globally in the coming seasons.

adidas micoach is leading digital sports innovation and changing the way athletes, coaches and fans use performance data.  Through a range of devices and software, adidas micoach is setting new standards for capturing, evaluating and sharing performance data during training and competition.
