26 is the Golden Age of Passing…

After the third match day of the Europa League last week, Sport-locker.net have been sent some cool passing info as the Western Union PASS campaign kicks into gear.

And our favourite story is certainly their interpretation of the ‘Golden Age of Passing’ which according to them is 26-years-old…

What’s more, there were 20,445 passes is round three with FC Twente topping the charts at 695 (and they got beat 3-0!)

Newcastle hardman Cheik Tiote made the joint most passes, notching an impressive 107 against Club Brugge.
