Boxing Day 2013 and it looks like Santa is clocking up some overtime hours in order to deliver the new Puma evoSPEED 1.2 onto the feet of Sergio Aguero, Gael Clichy, Olivier Giroud, Adam Lallana and Mikel Arteta.

Two PUMA players in particular have been having an incredible season so far, Arteta for Arsenal and Southampton midfield maestro Lallana, and to celebrate their achievements PUMA have created some fascinating infographics.

For Lallana, 2013 has brought an England call up and seen his Saints team climb into contention for a European spot. The attached infographic shows that Lallana delivers 3.8 crosses per game, to the average midfielder’s 1.2 and creates 6.7 penalty area entries a game compared to the average midfielders 3.8.

For Arteta, the Arsenal vice-captain has seen his team turn into genuine title contenders, in no small part thanks to the Spanish midfielder’s superb form.

Today Arteta makes his 100th appearance for Arsenal, and the infographic celebrates his achievements this season, showing Arteta has a phenomenal pass success rate of 93.2% (compared to the average Premier League midfielder’s 85.9%) and completes 62.9 passes per game, compared to the average midfielders 33.4.

Both players have completed these remarkable achievements in the PUMA evoSPEED 1.2, and will hope to continue their form in the latest incarnation of the boots from today into 2014.
