We awake one morning. Snow and winter is a distant memory. The sun is beginning to shine and the air is that fresh thing of beauty.
It can mean only one thing.
Time for Sport-locker.net to get back on the roads and get running again…
***not forgetting that the Nike Impossibly Light Jacket and Reflective Tech Tights are a huge encouragement to get us out the house***
Firstly, what a beautiful day…
Secondly, why are we babbling on so much about the sodding weather?!
Back to the garms.
The Nike Impossibly Light is Nike’s lightest running jacket ever, weighing in at just 85g!
Yes, that is the same as three ounces. Catering for all needs here.
It’s almost impossible (see what we did there?) to put into words just how light this jacket it is.
Nike have got the naming of this product bang on!
The ultralight nylon fabric helps to reduce distractions while offering coverage on outdoor runs.
It hasn’t rained yet since we’ve donned the jacket but the DWR (durable, water-repellent) finish offers wind and water resistance to also help protect against the elements – bonus!
But the best / most practical part of the design of the Impossibly light jacket is that it can be packed into its chest pocket for convenient storage on the go, with a hand strap allowing for easy carrying while moving!
Not forgetting the colourway either, it’s ace!
If you’re after a crazy comfortable, ludicrously lightweight running jacket, then you really shouldn’t look much further than the Nike Impossibly Light.
We were also really impressed with the Reflective Tech running tights.
Probably more suited to night/low light runs, they feature a durable, streamlined design and reflective elements to help keep you comfortable and visible when conditions get colder and darker.
The Dri-FIT jersey fabric helps keep you dry and comfortable by wicking sweat away to the fabric’s surface, where it quickly evaporates.
They’re so comfortable and we were in love after the first stride.
The reflective strip down the side of the leg with the “NIKE” patch on the back leg is a real eye grabber too…
