Under Armour and Tottenham Hotspur launch new away kit for 2015/16 season

MASS15Following the May launch of Tottenham Hotspur’s new home kit for the 2015/2016 campaign, the Club has today launched its away kit for the upcoming season.

The new away kit will make its on-pitch debut during Spurs’ pre-season friendly against the MLS All-Star team, in
Colorado, on July 29th.

Featuring the latest in Under Armour technological innovation, the light blue away shirt contains six navy stripes on the front panelling, a feature repeated on the socks. This design is prevalent throughout the range of kits for the 2015/16 season and is inspired by the design of the emblem, positioned below the golden cockerel that sits proudly on top both of the West and East stands.

A traditional collar detail also features, with a further six stripes detailed across the back neck tape. The away Goalkeeper kit, in a sunbleached yellow and cadet blue colourway, features similar underarm striping alongside identical additional styling as the outfield kit.

As with all Under Armour teamwear, the kits feature HeatGear material. Weighing just 107 grams and containing the brand’s quick-drying technology and signature Moisture Transport System, sweat is wicked away from the body ensuring that players always stay dry.

Lightweight fabric with built-in four-way stretch improves mobility and accelerates dry time, while strategic ventilation built into the shirt at key points where the body most commonly releases heat allows for optimum coolness, even in the toughest weather conditions.

The Club’s third kit launch will follow later this summer.

The 2015/2016 away kit will be available to purchase today at Spurs Shops and the Club’s official website (www.tottenhamhotspur.com/shop).
