Following the launch of its new flagship UK store, The North Face has launched an in-shop hub aiming to inspire the London community to lead a life of exploration, with a string of regular outdoor activities as part of a Mountain Athletics based training program.
Welcoming all abilities, these free sessions include a weekly Tuesday workout geared towards preparing participants for the outdoors, a monthly Thursday meet aimed at expanding the outdoor expertise and knowledge of local Londoners, as well as an outdoor exploration on the last weekend of the month where outdoor enthusiasts will be able to put their training and expertise into practice away from an urban setting.
This month’s outdoor exploration takes place on the 20th February taking the #NeverStopLondon community out of the city to TrailScape’s 10k course in the Hertfordshire countryside.
Putting their training and knowledge gained in the weekly work out sessions to the test, London explorers can attend the session hosted by 2 of TrailScape’s expert guides for free.
Jen Slater, The North Face® Community Manager said, “The outdoor explorations are a fantastic opportunity for London’s weekend warriors! It’s great to be able to get amongst these new landscapes and escape our normal city lives.”
The club’s monthly explorations will continue to take the #NeverStopLondon community out of the city to the many UK outdoor playgrounds to experience an activity that will have been aided by the training and knowledge they’d gained in the weeks before, whether its climbing, trail running or mountaineering.
