PUMA Bluebird trainers re-released!

Here at Sport-locker.net we bloody love our trainers…

And today we’ve got some news that will excite Cardiff City fans (or fans of clubs who play in blue and yellow)!

PUMA recently re-released their Bluebird lifestyle collection last year and this couldn’t be more apt now ahead of the Carling Cup final between Liverpool and Cardiff City later this month…

Originally worn as a light weight running style in the early 80’s, the PUMA Bluebird shoe has been adopted into terrace culture with its name lending itself to Cardiff City football club.

First launched in 1982, it had a steady reputation for being the best, most lightweight shoe for indoor training, with a suede upper and a natural colour injecting moulded PVC sole.

Known by football fans, it was traditionally worn by those who stood on the 1980’s terraces.

They’re a favourite amongst the Cardiff City crew, with the name and colours specifically linking back to their club and nickname.

Due to its authenticity as an iconic archive style, the legacy of the Bluebird continues! These bad boys will set you back a tidy £60 and you can bag a pair from www.prodirectselect.com/

Firstly do you like the treads? Secondly, who’s going to win the Carlin Cup final then? Let us know in the comments section below or on our Twitter and Facebook pages.
