Premier League Fantasy Football Boots 2011/12: Week 29

Another week of Premier League action and that means another week of goals, assists and Fantasy Football Boots brought to you exclusively by Sport-locker.net

As a little reminder for you…

Each week, Sport-locker.net will keep a running table of which boots are scoring the most goals and which are making the most assists as well as collating the two to reveal the Premier League’s most prolific and most creative football boot.

Three points will be rewarded for each goal scored while there is one on offer for every assist.

Where else to start this gameweek round up but with Goal of the Gameweek. Or perhaps goal of the season would be a more appropriate title for Peter Crouch’s wonder strike against Manchester City.

Taking one touch with his Puma Powercats to tee himself up the all towering, all dancing beanpole proved once and for all that he does indeed possess a more than decent touch for a big man with an exquisite volley.

This capped off a fine day for Puma with fellow Powercat wearer David Wheater bagging a brace and Mikel Arteta thumping home a free kick wearing a white pair of Puma King SL for Arsenal against Aston Villa.

This gameweek saw a first outing for the new Nike Mercurial Vapor III and they proved an instant hit for long time Vapor subscribers Theo Walcott and Nicklas Bendtner who both hit the back of the net.

Table toppers adidas F50 adiZero and Nike T90 Laser IV both emerged from Super Sunday’s only fixture with a timely points boost courtesy of Hatem Ben Arfa (one goal, two assists) and Papass Demba Cisse (two goals, one assist) respectively.

Umbro continue to tick along rather nicely indeed in mid table with their GT Pro stepping up this gameweek with two assists courtesy of Manchester City left back Gael Clichy and Norwich City striker Simeon Jackson.

Find out how all the other boots are faring with the Sport-locker.net Fantasy Football Boots League Table. **
