Sport-locker.net are thrilled to show off the new LunarGlide+ 5 running shoe – as well as some new apparel from Nike’s Fall 2013 collection.

We’re big fans of the Lunarglide+ runners (having reviewed the 3s and the 4s) so we’re excited to see what the latest instalments are all about!

A runners’ perfect match, the Nike LunarGlide+ 5 Men’s Running Shoe is lighter than its predecessor and features updated Flywire technology and springy cushioning designed to go any distance.

SUPERIOR, ADAPTIVE FIT

The seamless single-layer mesh upper with ultra-strong Flywire threads delivers a superior fit and feel, offering ventilation and support where you need it most. For an adaptive, glove-like fit, the updated Flywire wraps the midfoot and arch and integrates with the lace loops, tightening for a closer fit and reduced pressure on the top ridge of the foot.

DYNAMIC SUPPORT

Dynamic Support provides just the stability you need without the added weight or stiffness of a traditional medial post. A floating heel clip moves with the foot to add another level of support, moderating excessive rearfoot pronation.

FLYWIRE

Flywire helps provide ultra-lightweight support and comfort for your foot. It gets its strength from thin nylon fibres strategically placed on the upper of the shoe to hold the foot in place, helping to reduce slippage during activity. This allows for a massive reduction in weight because material is used only where it’s needed for structure.

RESPONSIVE FEEL

The shoe’s Lunarlon cushioning features a soft yet resilient foam core encased within a supportive foam carrier for lightweight, ultra-plush cushioning and springy response.

OTHER BENEFITS

  • Mesh inner sleeve wraps the foot for a comfortable fit
  • Sockliner molds to the shape of your foot for a custom fit and improved underfoot support
  • Plush foam in the collar for enhanced heel lockdown
  • Deep flex grooves for increased flexibility and a smooth, efficient stride
  • Reflective elements for enhanced visibility in low light

At 280g, the Nike LunarGlide+ 5 is lighter than its predecessor without sacrificing an ounce of stability. It features a fit with no slip, and a cleaner, sleeker silhouette. The Nike LunarGlide+ 5 harnesses the promise of Lunar better than any other shoe.
