Sport-locker.net absolutely love the recent NFL showcase matches at Wembley in recent years, and there’s another one Sunday, October 27 between the Jacksonville Jaguars and San Francisco 49ers!
And last night, NikeTwon London played host to an event that featured a Q&A session and meet-and-greet with Jacksonville Jaguars players Cecil Shorts III, Paul Posluszny, Blaine Gabbert, Chad Henne, Johnathan Cyprien and Tyson Alualu.
If that wasn’t exciting enough, the Jaguars’ cheerleaders and mascot Jaxson de Ville treated guests to a live performance!
49ers legends Guy McIntyre and Bryant Young, alongside former Jaguars players Fred Taylor, Tony Boselli and Jeff Lageman entertained the crowd and ensured that UK fans were able to get closer to the NFL than ever before.
The evening was capped off in memorable style, as guests were able to enjoy a special photo opportunity with the Lombardi Trophy.
“There is such a great buzz here at NikeTown,” said Jacksonville Jaguars player Cecil Shorts III. “It is always fantastic to meet our fans in the UK and feel the passion they have for the NFL. We are really looking forward to gearing up for Sunday’s game.”
As the official uniform supplier of the NFL, Nike provides all on-field, baselayer, sideline and practice wear for the league’s 32 teams.
The Nike Elite 51 Uniform delivers a fully integrated system of dress for athletes at the highest level. Rooted in body-led design, the uniform system is built for a body-contoured fit resulting in zero distractions in order to help amplify speed.
And we absolutely love our Minnesota Vikings jersey!
In addition to the player jerseys, the second area of development surrounds Nike Pro Combat technology – aimed for those seeking extra comfort and ventilation.
The Hypercool 2.0 Compression Short-Sleeve Men’s Shirt (RRP £30) and Shorts (RRP £28) deliver maximum breathability and sweat-wicking fabric to help keep the wearer comfortable during full-throttle workouts.
The lightweight, body-hugging fit layers comfortably under a uniform and pads without restricting freedom of movement.
We’ll have a full review of both soon but first impressions are extremely good for both!
