Football boot release: adidas f50 adiZero miCoach

Sport-locker.net is excited to announce the launch of a truly revolutionary football boot – the adidas f50 adiZero miCoach – ‘the world’s first football boot with a brain’!

The completely re-designed boot has in-built miCoach technology enabling footballers (of all levels) to analyse their personal speed, distance and work rate during a game.

Acting as your own personal stats man, the adidas f50 adiZero miCoach is capable of delivering such detailed information direct to your computer with the use of the revolutionary miCoach Sensor (Data Capture Chip) which is found in a built in cavity within the outsole.

The miCoach Sensor captures 360 degrees movement and measures key performance metrics including speed, average speed (recorded every second), maximum speed (recorded every five seconds), number of sprints, distance covered, distance at high intensity levels as well as steps and stride rates.

The on-board memory stores up to seven hours of all measurements during your game or training and then wirelessly transmits the on pitch performance data to your tablet, PC or MAC – wowza!

Your stats can then be uploaded to Facebook and you can compare with your mates. Who knows, you might be quicker than Leo Messi (but we doubt it!)

The third generation of the adiZero has this alarmingly striking High Energy/White/Electricity lead colourway.

As for the boot itself there’s also a shed load of breakthrough adidas technologies packed into the cleat.

The makeup of the adidas F50 adiZero miCoach football boots revolves around three main structures: Sprintskin, Sprintframe and the newly added Sprintweb.

The new Sprintweb is an enhancement on the bottom frame from the previous adiZero PRIME – and provides stability during high speed movements.

The Sprintskin upper is a revolutionary single layer synthetic for incredible ball-feeling and reduced weight. It’s been developed slightly, with a more textured finish to further enhance ball control and touch.

The one-piece Sprintframe outsole uses geometrics and new stud construction to offer the perfect balance between lightweight and stability.

And weighing in at a mere 165g (173g with the speed cell chip fitted) these will boots are surely set to take the footballing world by storm.

England and Manchester United ace Young said: “I’ve been playing in the adidas F5O range for the last few years and I’m amazed by the latest innovation.

“The new boot will help players be faster than ever and now, with the miCoach technology; they’ll be able to prove just how fast they really are.

“I can’t wait to wear the boots in November and share my stats with the adidas community.”

Players across the World, including Lionel Messi (he’s already worn them for Argentina), Gareth Bale, Ashley Young, and Samir Nasri will wear the boot from November 2011.

The new adiZero F50 boot will be available at adidas own retail outlets and specialist retail stores nationwide from the 15th November, at £200

Additionally, the adiZero F50 miCoach bundle will be available from wholesale outlets at £245 and includes a pair of adiZero F50 boots, a speed sensor and a smart device dongle, miCoach CONNECT, for iPod and iPhone as well as the miCoach CONNECT for PC / MAC.

Although as always, we’re sure you will be able to get your hands on a pair for a little cheaper!

Now, not only is the adiZero F50 miCoach the lightest boot on the planet, it is also the smartest. So let your feet do the talking on the pitch, while miCoach backs you up off of it!
