It’s only September but it feels very much like Christmas this morning at the Sport-locker.net office – after a brand-spanking new pair of Nike CTR360 Maestri III football boots landed on our doorstep!

We were huge fans of the previous versions, so we are absolutely giddy with excitement to see how the newest incarnation of the control boot fare in our review feature.

And it’s fair to say that they are bright on the eye!

Maestri is the boot favoured by midfield players who rely on innovative performance features to enhance their control of the ball, and therefore the game itself.

It will be interesting to see how the dimpled texture on the midfoot affects the boot after getting rid of the raised vamps from the Maestri II.

The new plate features a 360 degree stud placement – this will also be interesting to see if this improves comfort or not.

But most of all, we can’t wait to try out the newly Innovated and revamped 3D control pad that uses separate strips with fins of varying sizes to hug the arch and maximize contact with the ball.
