Premier League Fantasy Football Boots 2011/12: Week 25

Another week of Premier League action and that means another week of goals, assists and Fantasy Football Boots brought to you exclusively by Sport-locker.net

As a little reminder for you…

Each week, Sport-locker.net will keep a running table of which boots are scoring the most goals and which are making the most assists as well as collating the two to reveal the Premier League’s most prolific and most creative football boot.

Three points will be rewarded for each goal scored while there is one on offer for every assist.

Super Sunday in the Premier League never fails to deliver and with simultaneous matches kicking off at 1.30pm it was a case of not knowing where to look as the opening goals at Carrow Road (Paul Scholes, Nike T90 Laser) and the Emirates Louis Saha (adidas adiPower Predators), rattled in within seconds of one another.

Arsenal went on to complete a remarkable comeback against North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur thanks to a customary van Persie (adidas adiPower Predators) stunner, a brace from Theo Walcott (Nike Mercurial Vapors) and a delicious double from Puma Powercat wearers Bacary Sagna and Tomas Rosicky.

Manchester United were forced to call upon their Dad’s army as Ryan Giggs (Reebok Instante II) popped up to bag the winner on his 900th league appearance adding to Scholes’ earlier goal.

While it would be easy to hand the Goal of the Gameweek award to Robin Van Persie…again, Sport-locker.net  thought it might be nice to send the prize elsewhere. To the North-East to be more precise and Newcastle United’s Jonas Gutierrez who bagged a belter against Wolves wearing a pair of Umbro Geometra Pros.

This gameweek sees the glorious return of the much coveted ‘assist of the weekend.’ The prize goes to Fulham’s Nike T90 Laser Moussa Dembele whose audacious backheel set Pobrebnyak (F50 adiZeros) free to round Paddy Kenny and slot home the winning goal.

Find out how all the other boots are faring with the Sport-locker.net Fantasy Football Boots League Table. **
